Vivace Choir Vivace (meaning lively and animated) is our more advanced level ensemble and the principal performing group within the Badger State Girl Choir. Open to girls in grades 5-6, it offers a challenging and exciting artistic adventure into great choral music. This ensemble continues to develop good singing techniques and reading skills, but in addition, they work on part singing, and performance practice to a much higher level. Vivace is also the flagship choir for the organization, representing us through performances with symphonies, adult choral groups, and for select performances both in Neenah and beyond. Kevin Meidl is the Vivace Choir Director. Rehearsal Times and Locations We are planning to rehearse initially at the Valley Academy building (125 W. Wisconsin Ave. Neenah). It is a wonderfully visible facility for the dance program and a nice central location in Neenah for all of us. Unfortunately, it is not an ideal space for rehearsals. However, we are committed to working closely with the Academy, and providing an opportunity for girls to both dance and sing. As we explore this partnership, we will be keeping a watchful eye open for other rehearsal venues.
